A family isn't determined by who is or isn't in it, or how it came to be, but by the bond that is created by the love that is shared.

May Day!
And such a typical one in Colorado...

I was warned by the nice lady in the nursery section of Lowe's to NOT put any of the flowers I was loading into the cart outside, let alone in the ground, before Mother's Day. My California roots must have been showing. ;) Huge flakes are coming down fast and hard. Typical spring storm. Have over 4 inches already and it just started a couple of hours ago.

Wow....it's beautiful! I'm from Southern CA myself. I'm sure my CA roots show from time to time too :)
I look at your photos and just want to have a nice cup of hot cocoa!!

Wow that just is not right. It is May 1st.. Well hopefully this is the last cold weather and that the sun will start shining soon.

Yikes! Though I guess anything goes in that state (though I guess it snowed in No Kaz this week too). We are getting the nasties on the front end of the same storm (we're now on our 4th tornado warning of the evening - I'm typing this from the basement!). I'm also anxious to get stuff in the ground but it won't stop raining long enough to dry out! Crazy weather!
Poor little chilly tulips!
Christy :)
