Note: This is one of two posts for today. The one after this is the current Brady update. :)
Before we are home and Kaz is just a memory, I want to share images of Brady’s first home. Here he was cared for by a group of women who are genuinely interested in the well-being of their little charges. Brady loved his nannies in Baby Room 2. His eyes lit up when they held him or came into the bonding room. Below are photos taken during my visits to the Umit babyhouse. Umit means “hope” in English. Enjoy the tour.
From outside the gates. The building, with many wings, can be seen through the trees. The van in front belongs to my driver, Ceric.
The gated driveway.
The front entrance. The bonding room is directly above this entrance.

The wing that Brady was in. Baby Room 2 was on the second floor.

The front hallway, leading to the stairs to the second floor.
The open door at the top of the stairs is Baby Room 2.

This is the door into the bonding room.
The Bonding Room.

This is a picture of the Kaz President. Not sure what it says, but it hangs on the wall in the bonding room.
Photos of kids at what looks like some sort of celebration.
Light fixture in the bonding room. Brady loved to look at these.

The famous blue carpet. Brady would crawl around and stop at the different figures and try to pick them up. Very cute.

Baby Room 2 -- where Brady lived since he was 4 months old.

Nannies.
This is Gulmira. She is the head nanny for Baby Room 2. She was definitely the mother hen and you didn't want to cross her!

This is Navia and Urkia.

I gave this Willow Tree figurine to each of the caregivers. I think it says it all -- a perfect tribute to the Umit babyhouse staff and their hope that each and every child in their care finds a forever family.
